Leasa Kirk

Leasa was born and raised on the west coast of beautiful British Columbia but has called Calgary home for more than ten years now. When out of the office it is likely you can find her at one of several dog parks around the city trying to manage her two canine companions. After working several different retail sales and management positions she made the decision to go back to school knowing that she thrived in fast paced environments and the thing she enjoyed most, in any position, was the people she had the opportunity to work with. Leasa received her certificate in Medical Office Assistant and Unit Clerk at SAIT in 2017. She got her first taste of Sleep Medicine while on her practicum placement where she learned about the screening process and treatment of OSA. Working closely with patients she soon realised just how beneficial CPAP can be for a patient’s quality of life, improving both medical and personal side effects. After graduating she gained experience and confidence while working in large family practice clinics but missed the building of more intimate relationships with the patients she was helping. Leasa is committed to providing the best possible care for all clients of Healthy Heart and looks forward to meeting you at our new location in the south of Calgary.
